We are a non-profit organization that assists families and individuals when they are in need. Our sponsored families have suffered hardships all the way from losing a job, to housefire, to loss of a spouse. Our organization operates on donations of new and gently used clothing, toys and household items, non-perishable food items, new hygiene/ household products, and tax deductible monetary gifts. Unlike most other organizations that provide similar services, we help individuals and families all throughout the year, not just over the holidays. We, at times, are the stepping stone for families to get back on their feet, to start a new home when they have lost nearly everything, and the only way some of our families can provide basic necessities or dinner for their children. They are, as a community, our family, our neighbors, our friends, our co-workers. 1 in every 5 people cannot afford basic necessities. Look at the people in your life. You may not realize it, but you know someone living in this very situation.
